Single-tenant industrial building
The tenant procured a roof restoration contract to have the roof restored using acrylic coating with polyester reinforcement. During our initial evaluation, we observed that only a portion of the scope of work had been completed. Only the base layers of emulsion and polyester had been installed yet they had invoiced the project in full. After our initial evaluation, we reached out to the contractor to coordinate a job walk and show them the work. The contractor was unaware that their crew had not completed the project. The landlord was unaware that the tenant had signed a contract and started the work. SCS was able to coordinate the completion of the work with agreed-upon construction requirements and a timeline for completion.
